Thank you all for responding, they have rose combs, slate gray legs..........AND have developed a bad habit of sleeping on the roof of the coop, I have placed empty plastic plant pots on the roof, they just keep flying into them until they knock them off, I tried moving them when they were asleep & they freaked out! I read somewhere they should have their wings clipped, but I think that's the same as declawing a cat, removing their only defense. Any tips?
