Should I keep my chickens in their run for a while?

Well, if it was me, I'd keep them penned. At least until you figure out what it is, then you can decide what to do next. But then, I don't let mine free range at all - too many predators.I do, but I'll have to move it.

I really don't know about penning. It came at night when they were safe, so....I do, but I'll have to move it.

I don't free range, either. They gave a "chicken yard" that is fenced, but it's nowhere near as secure as their run.Well, if it was me, I'd keep them penned.
