What about the goats?

Not much more I can do, there. They are in a barn at night and surrounded by a wire loafing pen surrounded by electric fencing. It's a lot of effort for a bear to go through. The birds are in a more accessible area, but they are also inside an electric fence.

I would set up your camera, and reenact the crime scene prior to the assault. Don’t lock the car! Set it up like it was. Then you’ll get a true read. Business as usual. Don’t change your schedule. A critter will return to the scene. Doubt it was human.

Pretty sure it's a bear. The bite mark on the bucket plus the claw mark I found on my upholstery leads me to believe it was a bear. Plus, nothing else was taken, and this is my driveway:

Not a lot of ingress or egress for kids or tweakers.

Man I would ask someone to house sit after an incident like that. Someone who knows how to use bear spray and maybe isn't afraid of sasquatch just in case

My 2 adult sons will be staying there while we are gone.

I kinda feel like the universe is telling me not to go on vacation. But I HAVE to go - for so many reasons.
