What did you do in the garden today?

Watering today. The apple tree and crepe myrtles have until 3/1 to show some green. If not, I give up and I'm replacing with mesquites and just working on the garden area. This is the third darn apple tree that just won't take hold.

Can't wait to see your pics! Same thing here. We're converting my "studio", which is really kind of an all-purpose room, into our grow room for now. It has a large southern-facing bay window, so it's great for growing plants in there. I'm working on it today, as a matter of fact.

Dilly beans? What's that?

It's pickled beans with lots of dill, garlic, and as much hot red pepper flakes as you like to give them just the right amount of "bite". You can find lots of recipes on line. They are super easy. You simply pack the spices into the jar, put in the beans. (leave them long) With my fortex, I have to cut them in 1/2 and usually 1/3 to get them into the pint jar. Add your brine, and HWB x 10 minutes.
