Watering today. The apple tree and crepe myrtles have until 3/1 to show some green. If not, I give up and I'm replacing with mesquites and just working on the garden area. This is the third darn apple tree that just won't take hold.

I bowed to reality and turned my (unused) dining room into a plant room. Will take pix tonight, but I was just delaying the inevitable. 
Can't wait to see your pics! Same thing here. We're converting my "studio", which is really kind of an all-purpose room, into our grow room for now. It has a large southern-facing bay window, so it's great for growing plants in there. It's pickled beans with lots of dill, garlic, and as much hot red pepper flakes as you like to give them just the right amount of "bite". You can find lots of recipes on line. They are super easy. You simply pack the spices into the jar, put in the beans. (leave them long) With my fortex, I have to cut them in 1/2 and usually 1/3 to get them into the pint jar. Add your brine, and HWB x 10 minutes.
