So you are planting a 6 x 8 bed? Are they a short variety, like Progress #9? If so, you can do a solid bed, and then harvest them all at once. If tall, you will have to row plant them and give them support.

Yes 6 x 8 bed . Planted sugar snaps . Plus a packet of snow peas outside of the greenhouse .

If you can dig your soil, you should be able to plant peas, with or without a green house! They can go in the ground just as soon as you can dig, at least in my area.

It warmed up enough to melt the snow in our raised beds today. Added some compost and turned the flock loose to till it in. We were pleased to see the strawberries poking up already. The chickens tore them up pretty bad last fall and we weren't sure they would come back.

Yes . Just trying to make sure they are ready by June . They usually are . I have a cabin to build and will be gone a lot . So trying to time harvests around my trips to the cabin .
