I have 3 baby cantaloupe now. Anyone know how long they stay in bloom? My cukes are getting female buds, my watermelon are getting their first male flowers, and I saw a few buds starting on the squash.

Carrots aren't ready yet, although their tops are tall. I didn't thin them when they were little, so I may start pulling baby carrots, and maybe seed some of the bigger bald spots. Also wondering how long my bush beans will keep producing, because I'd like to try a second planting for fall.

Potato vines are huge and kind of taking over a bigger area than I'd like, I didn't get around to hilling, so I'm tempted to dig them up, and start some more for fall.

If you don't leave those potato vines until they naturally die back, you will forfeit the crop. Can you put a fence or netting around them to keep them from spreading too much?

That’s a fantastic idea because mine are kind of everywhere. They were standing up nice and straight looking good until they storms rolled through. But if I had some kind of chicken wire or something around it may still be standing. And taking up a lot less room

Help! What is this? Melon, squash, gourd? These were volunteers. I did not plant. They must have gotten into the compost pile.
