What did you do in the garden today?

Today my house smells intensely of cookies and pies. I've been snacking on the cookies that come out too dark. Two more days till me holiday! I'm thrilled!

Don't want those cookies going to waste.....
Well,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, burn toooooo many and they end up on the waist

Made 4 kinds of cookies today 4 more tomorrow then done three pies blackberry, apple and mincemeat

Lol, Rich, I pay no mind to how much I consume during the holidays. It'll be burned off in the spring/summer as I hand-dig my garden beds anyhow! I like to justify it by claiming I'll need the calories then.

Penny, I wish I was as far along for Yule 5 days ago as you are for xmas! Sounds like you have everything under control! I JUST finished baking cookies last night, D packaged them this morning. I have cleaned and split 3.5lbs of brussel sprouts, G cut up a dozen carrots into spears, I'm about to start sweating down 2lbs of mushrooms, and I have the worlds biggest bread dough ball rising on my table right now. I'm pretty sure it's threatening to leap out of my bowl in about 20 minutes when it has another hour of rising to go!

I got my game pie bakes and 1/2 of my vegan layered pies! Plus the chicken is ready and the sweet potatoes, the leeks chopped for the soup and my bread rolls baked into the shape of suns, plus a cake! Whew!

Now I have dawn prayers in 6 hours! Yikes! :O So I'm off to bed!

My century plant did really well this year! Not only did it grow more this year than the last 3-4 years combined, it put out 13 pups!
