@deepbluesea Hey! I was just thinking about you last week as I put my herbs in cause I still have those Oregano seeds you sent me and I planted them again this year. I'm sorry to hear you've been having a rough time but it's good to hear from you again.

Was out planted some seeds bought two long trays about two years ago use it to mix chicken in to dirt or start plants but using the paper towel method now going to do allot of dirt adding to tires refresh all of them before planting more

I have been nursing my seed starts this week. Hopefully a few more will pop otherwise i am at 50%. Lol

Sounds like allot is also what I planted or have seeds for more going in the garden tomorrow we were going to work a bit Son and I he went after shoes he needed new ones silly locked his keys in his truck now he and BF went after him alone for an hour seeds go in day later

This is not common here the son is a pretty quick guy he is 35 now but owns the house with me and my left arm

Went to a local landscape supply yard today, we know the owner. Bought 2 cubic yards of dairy cow manure compost. Puuuuwee. Well, actually it's not that stinky at all. My wife, remember how normal men have wives, and kids, well she sent me. It's not that heavy on the trailer. Nothing like when she wanted sand. That was heavy!

Hi fellow growers of things. It's been a looong time--the hurricane kinda kicked everyone's asses and my mom's had a slew of health issues I'm trying to manage long-distance, so I've been off the radar. It's good to see everyone's typing again!

So, my neighbor's dog got my head PRB Cleo because the hurricane knocked down the fence and the posts I used to prop it up fell down. I was sad, but on the other hand, everyone gets along far better now. The newbies from the end of June have been laying since mid-Jan, so I'm getting a bunch of eggs daily and have expanded my small 'customer base'.

I've got snow peas about 3" tall, broccoli, radishes, kale, and cabbage in the raised beds, as well as overwintered leeks, onions, garlic and herbs--lemon balm, flat-leaf parsley, bronze fennel, cilantro, chives and garlic chives and oregano and rosemary. I need to weed the herbs though. And fix the fences, both outer and around the garden. Just got the roof finished, so that's next on the list.
