What did you do in the garden today?

I put the arched entryway I ordered from Amazon together yesterday. It was very easy and looks good. I need to go to HD this morning and pick up some anchors to secure the arch to the ground. It's already 40F here and supposed to hit low 60's this afternoon. Lot's to get planted. My rooster made it through his first night without his girls. After they went into the coop last night I went and picked and put him in his "bedroom." The first time he bolted right out, the second time he just laid down and I petted him for awhile to calm him. He is really a sweet rooster and does his job with keeping the ladies in line. However, his over-active libido is roughing up the girl's feathers a lot. They need time to heal and grow their feathers. He is fine and crowing and hanging out on his roost. I think he may be starting to enjoy his little vacation.

Yesterday was a do little day. I managed to get my top tarp attached properly looks tidy & tight.
Small things make me happy. As the afternoon winds came down the canyon (it can howl so loud).
I sat watched the trees bend and the tarp? Barely a ripple it was so nice! :wee
My hubby fell in the yard (He’s okay) took him to the hospital for a shot in his hip & a Rx for pain (muscle relaxers). I feel so bad I had wire layed out (on the ground) & he wasn’t aware it was there...wish I had been outside at the time...:hit
The Orioles are here from Mexico....loving the hummingbird feeders.
There’s a albino morning dove that has taken a fancy to the top of my run. I harass them away when I can...they attract hawks.
Well....The sun is up now so I’m headed outside.
Enjoy your Saturday!

As a fireman, I must share that the call we fear the most is "fall from his own height" as in not off a ladder etc. Most home deaths come from falls. Most of those are in the bathroom. So when you lay out wire, etc, be sure to think ahead of what might happen ... so it doesn't happen.
