What did you do in the garden today?

Feelz don't save lives. Precautions do. We're the ones responding 24hrs, so we'd much rather folks didn't get hurt in the first place.
Guys...he’s right. Hubby~Mr. size 14 EEE~he’s going to be fine. He actually SAW the wire and tripped anyways!
Come on now he’ll put sour milk on cereal and just can’t figure out why it tastes funny....what would he do without me? :lau

*Alright someone out there
Just said TRIP! I heard you *

I was outside from 6a-3p.
Beautiful day. Transplanted some Irises. Sigh~
Wired  the ground around a couple of my berry’s. I didn’t finish but I took a pick of the wire before I cover it. The rocks are just to add weight for now.
12 runners of my red raspberry’s and three of my Marion berries survived winter I’m going to let them stay & grow. They do well upside the house. There’s wind protection and in summer it’s the coolest spot in my yard. I can’t wait for them, yum.
Accomplished a lot of various things. Cut some asparagus spears for Sunday dinner with Momma.

Please, what is the purpose of the wire? Are there tunneling critters to worry about? We lay 1" wire to keep chickens from scratching at the roots. Is that it for you too? They will un-bury it in no time.

here we had rain, hail, more rain and only getting 6 eggs a day

Omigosh, the rain we had in TX today. 2.5" in about an hour. The 15 tons of sand I added to our garden soil really saved our bacon...no erosive runoff! It all sunk into the sandy mix. Now we really need to beef up on organic matter in there. I keep telling the CEO...

Oh, here is what lightning did to a tree 50 yds away. It also killed our landline phone. I heard the surge protectors click and save the printer, modem, screen. But the phone itself has no protection on the phone wire, so it fried the phone.

Sooo, my improvised seed pot tags....

You are so clever. And your hand writing is really good. Well done!

I put down the 10 bags of mulch between the garden beds. I need at least 5 more to finish so I'm heading back to Lowes, it's still on sale.

Hey, stuff happens. I took a tumble stepping down from my garden. Nothing broke. I had my doctor check me out for inner ear problems because I thought I had lost my balance. Turns out there was a loose stone on the top step. Stuff happens. At least I know my old bones aren't brittle. :old
