Picked 3 tomatoes , squash . cucumbers . Watering now . Promised rain never came .

We are very excited that our Late crop tomatoes
which will be a pink beefsteak are blooming, and happy,
It's been a long time since I've been able to put in a second crop
here at the house

I picked 2 summer squash, green beans, a couple cherry tomatoes, have a lot of cabbage i need to pick going to make sauerkraut i think and freezer slaw....think i have enough green cherry tomato's to make some fire balls..I am waiting on about 30 pepper plants and tomatoes..and my pole beans have just started getting flowers etc including some Chinese yard long beans. my goal is 50-70 jars of beans, 50 of tomatoes,pepper jelly etc..Currently i have 8 jars green beans, 4 pints of strawberry rhubarb jam..
raspberries are in season and just getting ripe at our seasonal campground hope to put up some raspberry jam also at lest 4 pints and maybe some jelly sized jars for trading for eggs.

Some of the mortage lifters have good sized green tomatoes so fried green tomatoes tomorrow-) Best tasting carrots today, everyone says sweet corn is extra sweet this year. Might take a ride to the produce stand tomorrow get some, wish I had room to grow it .

Today? Not a blamed thing! I've got apples to can, jelly to make, animals to feed and water, laundry to do, dishes to wash, and a house to clean.

Much needed rain this morning . Green beans need picked again . Picked up some bargain trees at TSC yesterday . $2.99 on close out . Flowering pear , flowering cherry , and flowering crabapple plus a Santa Rosa plum . In rough shape but alive . A little extra care and they should be ok . I can graft fruit onto the flowering trees .
