What did you do in the garden today?

I do them in skillet kinda like popcorn butter salt and pepper shaking the pan with cover on it
I like to cut them in half. Put them in a large baggie with plenty of olive oil. And gently roll them around to coat well. Then salt and pepper (or sprinkle anything you like) or a seasoned salt and garlic is good (add Parmesan cheese on top). Cook cut side down covered in a foil tent (depends how soft you like them) 350- 20 minutes.
My hubby got me a BBQ grill just for vegetables. I love to bbq in the summer. Haven’t done Brussels on it yet.

As if I don't have enough to do.
Grrreatttt!
Now you get to wait for the kits.
Young inexperienced _____ (fill in the blank) are what leave allot of walking wounded once they try to learn to hunt.
Time to get the traps set.
It never ends....:he

I am experimenting with different plants in our clay soil. I have been planting everything in grow bags or pots, but this year I tried some potatoes at the edge of the woods, where the soil is a little better because of all the leaf mulch. I have three plants coming up! I added some potting soil on top.

I had bought some heirloom carrot seeds that were supposed to work well in clay soils. I planted them at the tree line as well, but haven't seen sprouts yet.

I do something similar with New potatoes, or Yukon Gold, or Red. With skins on of course, and on outdoor griddle in BBQ .

Just a thought. Potatoes do like sandy soils. I know of some peeps up in Northern Wisconsin that cultivate potatoes. The soil in their area is IDEAL for potatoes. No farmers in my area grow potatoes to any extent due to soil.
What I am suggesting if possible for you is; Mix sand to your clay type soil (in area where you will plant potatoes) and see if you get good results:idunno
