I’ve got my little puddle area. All this water used to run downhill to the coop.
The mosquitoes are already out...saw some that had pet collars (big!)
Hope the Bats have a good year with the mosquitoes.
Poor Bats they’re finally making a comeback.
Foggy and calm this morning.
Guess I’ll break out my hula-hoe and get after all the weeds coming up.
Have a good day Gardeners :frow

Chive blossoms.
They are easy to deadhead.
They can be invasive if you don’t. ;)

I thought so. They have the prettiest blossoms, I love them.

I find it hard to believe anything edible could possibly be invasive here in my soil :p

Morning all flip side we are in danger of massive fires from stupid people as we are in the driest years since the late 40's

Oh no Penny! Stay safe and please keep us updated on your situation.

This is a patio container planted peach tree. It has unusual leaf color. Of course it is intended for decorative purposes. It has fruit on it. Size is that of a Large Grape. Do not need to squint to see that one of the peaches is already sampled by my tree mice. :old I know those lil devlz just want to eat:pop.

I have been experimenting with squirrel deterrents. Tried ACV that I brushed on the outside of pots. Did not deter whatsoever. Read that moth balls should,,,,,,,, well the old style may have,, but the new mothballs have been reformulated, and do not have that CLASSIC odor. That odor was supposedly toxic. :idunno
Anyone have any home remedies to deter those squirrels???
