What did you do in the garden today?

I think your first step is to organize it into piles: one for containers, I see some items that could be used for trellises. Get your piles organized so you can make better sense with what you have to work with. I wouldn’t recommend succulents in your climate. But would suggest looking into short rooted plants for the really small containers. Perhaps sedum. The Old Farmers Almanac has suggestions for container gardening. Right now it’s a bit chaotic but some conscious sorting will reveal some interesting resources.
 
I'm jealous of the whole lot! It's frozen outside here in IL. It looks they can garden year round in south TX. I wish...

I should clarify that I’m *most* jealous of the red grapefruit - look at how red and juicy it looks!!! But, you are right-it is all yummy and bright and fresh looking !
