My mom’s procedure is done. Good news! No sign of infection or damage to her heart valves!

What is the major source of fire-starts in your area, Lightning?

People chucking cigarettes out their car windows, disking fields, hot vehicles in the fields, vehicles tossing sparks when they drive (dragging chains etc), or sometimes reflections off mirrors (rare but happens)

Stopped during my luck break for a yard of garden soil and came home and got about 90% of it unloaded and tilled it was some leaves and grass clippings. Rain tomorrow so I'll finish over the weekend.

Managed very little today. Going to town sucked 5 hours out of my day. I need to deliver eggs tomorrow and then I'll come home and put up some freezer meals for the crock pot later; some dinners and some breakfasts.

I'm already tired thinking of it.

I need to sit at the sewing machine and the loom. I did get one 18th century cap finished tonight, but that was all. I have 8 skirts to mark and hem and then I need to iron the whole lot and hang.

The loom needs warped.

And I need to make a couple of little girl dresses. BLEH.

Goldstrum is a good one . Seems to do really well in a slightly sandy area and not so well in clay in my experience .

Good morning everyone. Kinda chilly here this morning, windshield needed the defroster to assist this morning though it was still light for this time of year. Showers off and on today and I'm hoping they are not that heavy.
The Philly flower show has been in town since Saturday and it ends on Sunday. My wife and I were gifted a pair of tickets from her sister who works downtown so it looks like we will be heading there after I get done work tomorrow afternoon. Should be a nice day and I'm looking forward to it. It is supposed to be chilly and breezy tomorrow anyhow so a good indoor activity day!
