What did you do in the garden today?

I haven't planted anything yet -- there's still a big lump of snow where I want to plant, plus the Christmas tree and wreaths that I should move to the burn pile.
What I'm planning to plant, though, is some lettuce, nasturtiums, zucchini, and maybe some morning glories. A couple other things that I'm forgetting, too. Not much, as I'm not much of a gardener and don't have much space, but a few things.
I have plenty of fertilizer, however, thanks to the chickens and guineas.

Aloha gardeners!
Yesterday was busy. Washed floors, cleaned bathroom, hung aunties laundry, watered grass and garden, sold more eggs locally(!!!) and started to gardened in the front beds and made dinner for all, along with a bunch of crap I don't remember... This morning I was anxious to get out and garden again. The Spring bug must have bit me. I thinned our bromeliad's and spider lily's and filled in the bare spots in my beds due to chickens, neglect and scaffolding. Placed some pots w/ plants in them and homemade stones of kids and grand kids feet and hands in garden to have happy thoughts and chicken deterrent. Made some cuttings of Ti for the future garden fill.
Tomatoes are starting to orange up, lettuce looks fab, yanked the moldy zucchini so now have empty bed for chickens to play till I figure out what i want to put in. Papaya's are getting big again and STILL need to pick all of the oranges :hmm
Off to take auntie to the docs for a check up.

Nope nothing at the machines today. I went out to deliver the first of the 2020 eggs, and ended up driving another 1.5 hours to pick up a new hay rack, then 2 hours home. Then 3 hours stringing fences and doing the evening chores. Going to be warm this weekend, but crazy windy again, lots of fires popping up. It's very hard to work in such high wind and dry air.
So we'll bump the sewing to another day.

Good morning!
I was up with a sick kiddo last night so I will probably take it easy today. I do need to get some leggy seedlings transplanted, and yesterday I came home to a 15 yard surprise from the arborists so I’ll probably be mulching for the next -checks watch- forever.
I'm jealous. I cannot seem get somebody to just drop mulch for me. I have to play per yard from a landscape supply. I tried registering through sites online and I never get anything. Additionally, everything seems to be outsourced by the electric company and township, so that don't have a giant pile they need to give away either.

I have to pay too. But found a guy that does tree work as his business, and he has brought in huge truck load for small fee - figure it’s going towards the fuel cost for his truck anyway.
