What did you do in the garden today?

Morning everyone!

@igorsMistress I hope you're feeling better! & what is MBOP?

@Acre4Me they are little cuties!! Food everywhere already, lol.

The littles are finally going in & roosting in the big girl coop all on their own in peace. One is even brave enough to roost on the top roost with the older girl! Ordered pinless peepers as a last resort for mean girl, it's either that or I have to rehome or cull her & I don't want to do that because she is my best layer.

Hardening off the San Marz - I wasn't sure if they were inside or out at the farm.

Patrick the goof is really enjoying his cow bone, he carries it everywhere.

Some of the beans look good. The other bed, not so much! I might replant a few if they don't pick up by next week.

Ok, off to work, have a great day all!

Today might actually be the day to plant all the starts in the garden!! Overcast to partly sunny, low wind and not too hot, so that’s great to not stress the plants at first!

The eggs in the incubator are doing well. I candled some last night (Day 10) and saw movement in the ones I candled and also was able to verify two others were clear. So out of 37 eggs set, 11 were clear, leaving me with 26 possible chicks. I may candle some more today, to verify no more clears. I bought a very bright flashlight -greatest lumens I could find. Luckily, it has a rechargeable pack, along with a battery pack. In order to see into the darker shelled eggs, it needs to be at its brightest, so I’m happy that the rechargeable pack was up to the task Of illuminating the dark eggs.

Good morning gardeners. Another lovely weather day today. I got some painting done on the baby coop and mowed the backyard yesterday. I also planted my impatien seedlings. I hope the birds and the chipmunks don't eat them. Today I will finish all the mowing and plant some flowers. I'm thinking the garden could use a drink of water as well. My potatoes are doing very well and the leeks are getting along fine. I need to thin the turnips and plant more radishes. So much to do now that the weather is behaving. Have a great day everyone.

Good morning all. Yesterday went to doc appointment with DH plus pick up generator, starter feed plus a heat lamp bulb, I also grabbed some B-12. Moved brooder to garden/chicken local , moved 1 planting table to under orange tree for potting shade and transition, gave away 2 planting tables plus a bunch of cement pots. Making cement pots was a big thing back in the 50's,60's,70's here and we are still on overload even after thinning for years...

Today, I let momster 👽 out for a stroll, bleached waters, cleaned coops, 2nd dose worming flock, watering the lawn/garden, picked papaya, tomatoes and arugula. I will cut and install a roost for the teens -need to get them out of the nest boxes- just think, one day they will be the mean girls... oh, and a load of laundry. I am sure that there is more in there... would like to work with Hombre this eve... that would be awesome 🐴

Happy holiday weekend all- Stay safe and well and hope you have some fun!!!
