What did you do in the garden today?

Different theories on that.
Some say once had, then never again.
Some say once had, then could hold some immunity so next time around won't be as bad as first.
Some say once had, slim chance of getting again.
Some say once had, doesn't matter- you're due again.

My mom was tested in May before she had surgery. If the test can only detect it three months after infection I wonder how long the immunity lasts.

Was she tested for CV19 or tested for the antibodies? HUGE difference.

We have some sunshine say for a week ... Lost a 4 year old sillkie this morning
second of 4 bought at the same time from a friend here..
Still pretty wet out cannot weedeat so rubber boots but shorter pair..

Made triple chocolate espresso scones today and took the dog to the vet for her annual meds. Took her for a doggie bath. Did ranch chores.

On the fringe of a harvest and smoke induced migraine all day.

Motivation is lacking for anything.

I’m sorry to hear about your migraine. I have to ask for that scone recipe though! Please?

Oh sure.
An advil sinus, hot shower and scone got rid of the headache. Pretty sure it was the scone that fixed the whole thing.

Used all whole wheat flour, and I used cream because that's what I had and made white glaze.

Started building our new raised beds in the Chicken Courtyard and they look pretty awesome if I do say so myself!

The Raised Beds are 2' tall and I've layered them with Cardboard at the bottom, gravel and sand, then local dirt, some hay, compost dirt and soil conditioner from a local landscape supply, cow manure and some chicken compost from the chicken Run. One more layer of store bought garden soil and we are ready to do some winter cover crop for the chickens!
