What did you do in the garden today?

Aloha garden gang,
So nice to wake up and not be sweating this morning- loving the cooler temps here!
No garden plans for me. I perked up for a second when i read that @Wolfie2 ordered onion sets though... hmmm ;)
Just going to enjoy the fruits for now with a little greens.
@NewBoots - nothing sweeter than a couple of pretty girls sharing :love
I am impressed reading about the canning and food stores. When I went to Costco the other day for my stores the shelves looked bleak. Everyone had the same thought as me... just a day or 2 sooner lol. Even chicken feed is getting dicey. Here we go again...:th:th:th:th:thI did buy my favorite TP, though we already had. Does that make me a hoarder?
So garden wise- I picked a few papayas and will juice a bunch of oranges today but the little-littles have control of my garden real estate for now. Can you spot my balded tomato starts to the right? No weed eating? It's all about the birds for a little longer...

Four of my old gals are in a pretty good molt. What a mess lol :love
K. Got to get after some chores. Stay well folks!
Awwww, your littles are soooo cute.

It’s not hoarding. It’s just stocking up on necessities when they are available. :lau
During the last dry spell for groceries, I bought a freezer and have kept switching out the food as I use it. I keep about 2 months worth of groceries there and in the pantry. I learned my lesson. Hope it doesn't happen again (and I DO have two months worth of TP stored)

We are waiting for the other shoe to drop here. DH and I figure that they're waiting for the lower grades to leave for the holidays and the major universities to be done for term on Tuesday.
Not a matter of health, IMHO, if they are waiting for convenience, but what do I know.
I saw at the market this morning that they are starting to limit items again, although no shortages here, yet.

I was appalled to hear that my sons work is letting some of their crew travel to the mainland for the Holidays... 🤦‍♀️This is a government subcontractor so apparently the XO has no problem with infecting our little island with very limited hospital accommodations, an indigenous people who are susceptible and a population that made a lot of sacrifices to take care of our kupuna and keep our #'s down. Now, they are letting the flood gates open to a bunch of people who don't care, think C19 is a hoax or... need a vaca from their "hot spots". This appears to be more important than the health of the people of our state and nation... oh no, maybe I am going to have to band myself from posting on the garden thread again... Sorry folks but i have just been smoking hot for months. I better go check on the chickens lol...
