What did you do in the garden today?

Good afternoon gardeners. I watered the seedlings. I see something green in the lettuce and maybe some garlic. Didn’t do anything out there other than that. I’m tired today, have a sinus headache and it’s in the upper 70s outside with a good breeze. I had to take Frankie to the vet to get his foot wrapped again. After surgery on Friday whoever wrapped it did it so that the tape didn’t hold and it was pulling at his hair. Also, some gauze got stuck between his toes. I rewrapped it yesterday myself but we needed it checked. Better job by the vet tech today and more the way I did it so fewer issues and it’s easier to keep him off of it without putting the cone of shame on him. I did get out to visit the duckies though. They are growing so fast! I’ve already had to adjust the heat plate and they seem happier with it.

I suddenly want chocolate covered marshmallows.

How did one crack?
Do they smell delicious?

Cracked on purpose in a failed experiment.
They smell like pine and citrus with a hint of tea tree... So, not exactly delicious but nice. XD

I could make ones that smell sweet and tasty, like vanilla and cinnamon.....

Morning all. Another near record breaking temp day here. I'll get the birds out as often as I can as I feel Nature will pay us back later. OF course she will.

I made almond poppy seed waffles from a mix last night, and the inside of my mouth is still raw. I wonder what was in it that I'm allergic to. Nothing odd on the label. Grrr.

Two more of my Tartan designs have been accepted and registered by Scotland. WHOOT!

I'd LIKE to go into the city and go to TuesdayMorning and take the recycling into the city, but I also need to go to the market and the new sale starts tomorrow. So I think I'll wait.

It's weird not baking for the endless holiday gatherings and parties.

I'm going through withdraw.
