Ooo....very nice. How much did that cost you, if I can ask? I was looking at greenhouse frames (20'x10'x7') on Amazon. They are less than $200. I need 2 of them. One that I can put over my corn and a few veggies to keep the deer/bugs out. I figured I could cover it with row cover cloth because I don't want it to be waterproof.

The 2nd one WILL need to be waterproof. I want to put some lemon tree seedlings in it and use it to keep the trees alive/warm enough in the winter that they don't die. I'm right on the border of Zone 7B/Zone 8. It does get down below freezing from time to time.

On a side note, I have been saving all my used horse, chicken, goat, alfalfa, etc...feed bags. I cut off the top/bottoms and then cut a slit up one side so it leaves an approximate 2' x 4' piece of woven "cloth" which will work GREAT as a weed barrier in the garden. I can use it between rows or I've thought about using it around the entire garden and just cutting out holes where my seeds/seedlings get planted. I've also been repurposing old tires as planters and these work GREAT underneath to keep grass/weeds from growing up through the bottom.

I didn't bother keeping track on the cost.. I'll guess and say about 600-700 for the structure with plastic.. But those are pre pandemic price, lumber has skyrocketed..

I just looked up the cost of the cow panel at TSC in my area. It's $21.99 for a 50" x 16 ft panel. Not bad. If I bought 5 panels, that's a little over $100. Think that would give me an 8' x 20' hoop house if I used 5 panels?

Nothin garden today!

Wet (humid), cold, overcast all day. Yesterday it rained all day.

Since it wasn't raining, I went to the park for a walk, cold but above freezing, so tolerable.

Lastly, I'm really holding out hope for our peach tree this year. It has yet to bare fruit since I planted it. This will be the third year now, so I'm going to see blooms this Spring.

I know some trees take awhile to establish, and won't flower for awhile. Peach trees are a 3-5 year for production type of tree, so this might be the year you get blossoms and fruit!

We have 2 varieties of Asian Pears we planted last spring, they do seem to be healthy and happy so far. I am curious if we will get flowers this spring. Not expecting any fruit, although one of the bare root trees was 2x the size (trunk thickness) as the other.
