What did you do in the garden today?

@BReeder! do the multi traps kill the mice, or just collect them live? Looks interesting if it actually kills them. I'm not into humane when it comes to mice. :gig I think the one I'm looking at actually kills them.
The ones I have so not kill them, but I drop a block if poison bait in them asking with seeds, chicken feed or other tasty bait. The poison takes care of the mice after they get into the trap. If there a live one still, dropping the tap into a bucket of water for a few minutes does the trick too.

Ok, that makes sense. I'm def going to do my research & go this route.

@Sueby, I don't think you would get other critters in the electronic traps except maybe squirrels (also destructive rodents), because they are little tunnels, and most other things wouldn't go for kibble or peanut butter, but it probably wouldn't be cost effective for a big outside problem. I also have one of these little mouse ones in my kitchen. It takes care of the ones that make it inside and flashes when it catches one. Here are picture of the mouse one inside and out. Last picture is rat size.

@Sooner Magnolia I wonder about the chipmunks, though I don't think I'd mind killing those little rodents either. :gig I just watched a video on that one, looks great!

@Acre4Me this is the base recipe I used. I totally changed it all around every time. I enjoyed the lemon, added lots more cayenne & even tried parm cheese which was great. My mouth is watering! I can't wait to be inundated with squash!

I swear they were like lays chips, but better! :drool

Ridiculously humid here this morning.
Dog ran out of jello squares, so ya know priorities. That was done before livestock.
Alpacas got fresh dust and fly spray.
Chickens got fly spray and traps.
Broody got a cherry tomato.
Walked the garden, looked at the pretty sunflowers, brought in one tomato, three cherry tomatoes, 5 black berries, one strawberry, and topped the weed grass in the onion bed.
Came in and melted.
Bleh.
Have a great day all.

I wish your wife could cook something for me. I wouldn't mind to give a pressure cooker away if somebody cooked for me delicious meals:lau

Yes, Dear Wife is an excellent cook and I am an excellent eater. She is best at Asian foods as you would expect. She does not bake or cook in the oven very much because, frankly, she grew up without an oven. She is just more comfortable on the stovetop and that is OK with me.

But she showed no desire in opening up the electric pressure cooker I bought or even trying to cook with it. So that idea was a swing and a miss for me. Like I said, I hope to find someone in the extended family that would appreciate the pressure cooker as it's too expensive just to give to someone else where it might sit in the closet. I don't know much about these new electric pressure cookers, but it has all kinds of settings and timers that can be set. I think Dear Wife just looked at it and said to herself, "Nope, I am fine with my frying pans and a wok."
