What did you do in the garden today?

It gets sweeter after it's been hit by a frost. It's actually pretty good in a stir fry, or in a soup. Kale chips are also quite tasty... not a gotta have it every day tasty, but a Hmmm, let's add a little more salt, and before I know it the entire batch is gone.

I'm fine. Yep, truck and car back in service. Blew through almost 1K. Hubby on vaca this week. He's caught GD's virus, GS was also sick, so far, I've not been bit. Good thing. I've been called back to work after 6 months of not being needed. Also have to report to jury duty Tues (40 min drive). When it rains, it pours. Got all of the perimeter of new run trenched, skirt laid, and finished chopping through the frost to complete the final run of back fill this morning. So happy to have that job behind me. Now, to cut an egg door into the coop. Hate the start of a project like that b/c I'm always afraid I'll mess up the measurement and make a hole too big or in the wrong place. Think I've got it marked, and will drill some pilot holes to check how things line up. Then make the door frame before cutting out the hole in the building. Will be 2 doors covering about 24 x 38".

I watered plants of course. I planted a amaryllis bulb I bought at the grocery store.
