What did you do in the garden today?

I’ve been looking at some of my Mom’s cook books. I found one from a church group made in 1970 that has a few canning recipes in it!
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a canning section in a “homemade” type of recipe book before.

Here they are if anyone is interested. I haven’t tried any of them yet.

Closest I came to gardening was dumping a big pile of alpaca poo by the neighbor's mailbox while playing santa. I go ring my big sleigh bells on Christmas eve and the kids get excited and go to bed. This year they put out reindeer food.
When I was done i ran over to the mailbox, took all the carrots and celery, and left a few tiny bells that fell off feasting reindeer harnesses and left a mound of reindeer poop. LOL.
SO AWESOME.

I don't have a Santa suit yet. I run an errand on Easter though every year now and just happen to miss the appearance of the Easter Bunny. The kids are young enough to not figure it out yet, so they tell me all about the Easter Bunny's visit when I return. LOL.
