What did you do in the garden today?

Tilled and weeded some, took a Sunday break for a few hours and I'm headed back out to do the same. Picked a bunch of lettuce and a few early onions to thin a row or two of them out. Finally got the neighbors dog to stop digging and rolling in the far end of my garden. Seems that I finally put enough chicken coop poop debri along the edges that the dog started to royally stink after rolling in it. Said dog is now tied up by it's owner, wonder if it was a suddle enough of a hint to him. I don't mind dogs wandering through I live out in the counrty after, all but it ticks me off when they dig up and undo work it to me a day to do. Took a few pics of it also.

I harvested a half a wheel barrow of rocks !!

LOL

Then planted my Toms and Peppers into the ground from the hot house :)

I have a bumper crop of rocks, too! I think we're both harvesting the leavings of the same glacier. Between the rocks, the clay, and the slugs, I'll be lucky to get ANY vegetables this year. This is our first year vegetable gardening at our new home, so our biggest priority is sodbusting. Oh, and rock removal...Sigh...

Hahahahahaha that's an awesome was to get your point across

Got my first harvest of the year! 12 cucumbers and a handful of greenbeans. The cukes are pickled and the beans are on the stove. Also restaked and thinned my tomatoes and added more support to my peas

Got two cukes, a few smallish snap peas, and the tomatoes are almost ready! First year our garden has been this good... We're all excited! Going to have to get some canning supplies so I can make pickles again.

Raining on and off after a really hot dry week. Suddenly thing are starting to take off after a slow start with the cold spring weather. Have picked my first lettuce this week and 3 snap peas (at least it's a start!). Lots of flowers on peas and fava beans but zucchini and runner beans very small.

Seeds my neighbour bought me back from Thailand have finally sprouted (wax gourd, snake gourd, bitter gourd winged bean, and musk melon). Can only hope we get some more hot weather and a long growing season and I may be lucky enough to get a harvest.

Onions and parsnips recovering after Black Pearl the silkie/Polish cross decided to fly into the garden and scratch them up. Think I managed to re-plant them in time...

We have gotten 43 cups of strawberry, 15 cups of mulberry and 8 radishes. Also sent berries and lettuce, and broccoli thinnings to the girls. I am keeping track of how much we produce here at home this year. Saw it here on byc and i really want to know how much we do get overall.
