Today I have been grafting plum and a few pear . I have a row of sand plum seedlings that I am grafting to Shiro , Waneta , Superior and Toka .

I ordered a couple crabapple trees they should be here the first of next week.

I watched my wife sweat and toil, while I started building us a 12x12 outdoor sun shelter.

And, what pray tell was dear wife sweating and toiling over? I do hope she served you a nice cold iced tea with lots of lemon, and a sprig of fresh mint, while you were building that shelter!

I sweated and toiled in my newly fenced and defined garden. Laying cardboard, followed by 6" of leaves, and a nice capping of chipped trees. Have lots of mulching left to do to complete the rest of the garden in BTE style. Hope to get onions planted tomorrow. Also unloaded 250# if chicken feed, and hauled 3 loads of rocks to the stone wall.

All I did today was.... Thin out some of my seedlings ..... Nothing else garden still under a foot of snow... And it snowed yesterday.... But was 60 today the first day of summer for us..... I will put seedlings out in greenhouse for a short time tomorrow to help get them growing better..... And plant more seeds.
