Got a break for few hours in hard rain so thought I'd move all seedlings on to deck for sunshine and notice I have fungus gnats!!! Ugh! Squished as many as I could then thought I'd water to drown em...
Man why didn't I research first! I just made it worse by watering!
Any suggestions or just do DE and mosqiobits!?

Sis texted. Dad given Last Rites and has passed peacefully. We're ok. Had several days to process things. He wouldn't have thrived post surgery. He never would have gone home, and that news alone would have done him in.
My sister and I are sad to loose him, but he wouldn't have adapted well.
I feel horrible to my sister, who is not only going through a divorce (FINALLY - court date May 16th) after her husband abandoned her and the kids 3 years ago, but now has to juggle his funeral, house, bills etc. She's never left home and has always lived across the street from my parents. So she has dealt with everything that involves with parents, aging parents, for the 35 years I've been gone, now 1000 miles away.
What I want is for her to finally not be tied to caring for parents, and a dead beat husband problem and FINALLY get to be her own person.
Sigh.......

Morning gardeners. Went out earlier to water the comfrey and they’re doing great, all have new leaves or revived leaves except the one root that had nothing on it. Super happy with the results

A couple 3-4-5 drops of blue dawn dish soap and a teaspoon of cayenne pepper in a half gallon of hot water, stir to dissolve pepper, let it cool before using it and spray tops and under leaves of plants and the soil around the plants.. be sure it’s really foamy.. a cheap dollar store spray bottle will work fine, it may clog up after it sits a while due to the cayenne.. but that’s why I use the cheap ones for this.. not my good pump up sprayers.. it will saturate and suffocate them and the soil where they live..

Well I got up and kinda feel better, walked outside fed animals and checked on everything and now sittin on the porch a while, watching the rain roll in.. I have MS with seizures, been doing really good past few years, but felling the trees Saturday and then moving furniture and freezers Sunday for Mom was too much, I had a spell last night in my sleep.. it’s a brutal full body cramp with tremors that lasts 20-45 minutes sometimes.. everything cramps, my face, my sides, legs, arms, even all the way to the bottom of my feet... and my body feels like one big bruise for several days afterwards.. 2 days of storms comin.. I need to secure the bitties in the hoophouse, it’s open and taking in a little wind, south wind now, blocked by my little storage building, but the front moves in from the west this evening and it’s not secure.. may try and drive a t post beside it and wire it temporarily to provide some resistance if the wind is really strong.. take care y’all.. I did manage to fetch the eggs just now.. the wife is gone til next week, so it’s just me and the varmints til then.. I need to wipe em down and box em up, time to stock up my cackleberries for sale.. my regular guy down the road gets 3-4 dozen every month is coming to get 3 dozen today.. wish he’d hurry up I need to lay back down..
