The popular theory with not feeding Cooked bones to dogs is that they are brittle and splinter when chewed. This of course depends on how the bones were cooked. If these are remnants from a soup/stock no issue. If from a barely not raw cooked piece? Could be an issue.Started some tomatoes, peppers, summer squash, and cucumbers in seed trays in the green house. While I wasn't paying attention, Penny got into the chicken run and found an old cooked chicken bone (I gave cooked bones to the chickens some time back) and crunched it up and ate part of it. Now I'm worried she'll get a perforated gut.![]()
