What did you do in the garden today?

Thanks. @igorsMistress
No pineapple juice in the pantry, so will figure out something else.
NO wind today at all at the moment. Tied up the tomatoes in the hoophouse, baby tomatoes are appearing in there. Stable flies in there, just a couple were relentless. Ode de'Off is this morning's scent. Icky, but necessary. These flies are crazy. They can be biting you and you can be directly slapping their heads, and they just say, '\"yes, please, may I have some more!"
Once they find blood, they bring friends.
I shouldn’t laugh, I know the flies are awful, but you’re hilarious lady!

One sunflower sprout is poking up. Hopefully nothing eats it. Finished potting the dragon fruit cuttings, most were already happily rooting in the cardboard box. The loquat I grafted looks good, not pushing yet but alive, so I grafted the last three scions and will cross my fingers at least one takes. Yesterday we had heavier rain than that tropical storm brought over the weekend, there was a tornado about 10 miles south of me that did no damage.
In case anyone was curious, I'm allergic to EVERYTHING.
So shots it is for 5 years.
Allergy shots WORK. And they last for a few years after you quit. I reacted to everything in their test except animals.

I love this little lime plant in this gallon pot. It had about 10 plump limes on it before I started using them. I am surprised that I can pick the lime when I need them and the ones left get larger. I am planning on transplanting this plant into a large air pruning plastic pot when I use up all the lime.

The pot with the small strawberry plants are from seeds I got from a large strawberry I bought from the super market. This is the first time doing this, but I grew plants from online strawberry seeds before. The trick is not to burry the seeds and cover the top with a plastic wrap until they root themselves.

I have some giant strawberry plants growing from seeds that I bought on eBay, but I think I got taken for a ride, so far no fruit and lots of leaves. The root ball on this plant when I moved it to a bigger pot were massive. I might need to move it from a 2 gallon into a 5 gallon pot. Anyway, I'll treat it like an ornamental plant for now, at least it has lush green foliage.

:hugsGood afternoon all. It’s sunny and breezy today, nothing new. Watered this morning, plan to do it again on Wednesday before the heat ramps up; expect a high of 114 over the weekend. I’m buying or building a parabolic cooker this weekend to expand beyond my sun oven. ‘Tis the season for outdoor cooking and our sun does a good job of it. I have a new feeder coming for the crew that is supposed to be mouse and pigeon proof. I hope so! We don’t have mice, but the flying rats are really annoying.
I have port feeders here & the squirrels don't touch them. I bet you'll be happy with them. I only bring them in in heavy snow or monsoon rains.

After the prick test, they came back in to count and measure and the first thing she said as she came in the door was WHOA.
Then asked me if I felt ok. I was itch out of my mind, but so used to ignoring being itchy, I just ignored it. Literally EVERYTHING they tested for. She said there was no pill or spray, or prescription that was going to help me, that my immune system was literally being overwhelmed 24/7 all year around. There is no amount of cleaning, filters, or living somewhere else that will work either. (They only test for midwest stuff since that's where I'm at, but I KNOW I'm also allergic to more things they didn't test here for as I've lived all over - sago, and long leaf pine for one.) The oral allergy and contact allergy problems are just icing on the cake.
Bees, wasps, hornets, scorpions, jellyfish and fireants fall under my serum protein problems.
So shots it is for 5 years.
Makes me want to take my results to every doctor I've had for the past 35 years that treated me like I was nuts or making it up. and slap them silly.
I hope you get some relief. I think I said it before, I did shots for years & finally gave up because I kept having severe reactions to the shots & got sick of taking Prednisone all the time from them. Good luck.

My Dad had a massive heart attack last night, he's hanging on by a thread. So I'm at the hospital & they only let 1 family member in a day for 2 hrs. But they let my sister go with Mom since she is deaf. I'll get to go in tomorrow. I'm sitting here catching up.
