That is a noxious weed here.. But to a gardener it is herb.

Yeah, same. The grass in the pasture is dying and getting crunchy. Real bummer. I'm glad I picked up my hay early because I think we are going to need it over the summer. I'll have to end up getting more for winter which sucks though....

Our yard is doin that in huge areas too.

That's a lot of kale @Wee Farmer Sarah! & you KNOW I want to see your dahlias. I have buds on a bunch, but still have a ways to go before I get flowers. I got them in a little late this year, I forgot about them honestly.

I bought a tray of Dahlias from the greenhouse around the corner (more or less). I’m hoping having them in a container will help me recover the tubers in the Autumn. All the kale I processed was from the first 8 foot row I planted. It’s still growing strong. The other row is growing well. I have about 10 to 12 feet of chard and another 12 feet of lettuce still growing strong. I got burnt out on salads last week but I’m ready for more now. I’ll likely donate more lettuce to the local food pantry along with some eggs this week. It’s so sad to see so many families struggling to put decent food on the table these past few months.
