What did you do in the garden today?

Today was the second day of rain. Definitely enough. Puddles everywhere but at least the chicken run stayed dry albeit a bit damp. I am going to wait til tomorrow to check the garden so the ground has a chance to recover, even though I see a bunch of beans ready to pick! Bloodwork done today…thankfully everything came back normal.

Squash are tempermental sob's.
WAAHH, im too wet, wilt, yellow, drop fruit
WAAHHH, im too dry.... wilt.... drop fruit
WAAAHhhh, I need fertilizer....flower, ... drop fruit
Waaahh,.. I..im a squash.... wilt.... drop fruit.

I got so angry at mine one year I ripped it up and threw it in the compost bin. #$# YOU squash #$# hole. Totally ignored it from that point in.... for about a month, then once a week id go down and pick squash as they came up.. The thing blew up and grew totally crazy I have found squash is like some women, you have to play the 'He who cares less' game to get them to be nice to you :D

Besides the fact that I am forced to wear two different socks 😂, is the swelling noticeable? I am keeping it propped up on a pillow but it's hard to rest it comfortably.

Noticed that the loofah that's growing around the bachelor pen has about half a dozen fruits on it! :celebrate A couple are quite sizeable already! So excited

Here are pictures of my 1 luffa plant and a close up of a couple of the bigger luffas. Like someone ( I think @WthrLady ) said, suddenly you have lots of luffas! Very true here.
