What did you do in the garden today?

Brought tropical fruit trees, tropical plants and some perennial flowers inside due to low weather temps outside:View attachment 3294848View attachment 3294849
Ill be bringing stuff in too in a few months, MY problem though is, my trees are probably 3x taller than me now and it's going to be an sob to move tip over to get in garage etc etc with them... I really do need to one of these days build a greenhouse

Today has been hectic. I was gone almost all day. I did manage to bring the pumpkin inside the house in an effort to save it from the cold. By the time I got home, it was dark. I have already pruned the peppers down but they are still in the ground. I covered them with feed bags until I can dig them up. Since the ground is still warm, they should be fine. What I did NOT get time to do -

1. Transplant or cover the few remaining strawberry plants that didn't die this year. I will cover them with leaves tomorrow and hope they will make it through the next few days.

2. Move the 5 gallon bucket tomato plants inside. Still debating if I even want to bother or just let them go...

3. Didn't get to pick off any loofah. I've never had any problems with them before during a freeze but I was still going to pick the ones that are still really fleshy and would be the most likely to be damaged by a freeze.

Canned 16 pints of salsa and had about a quart of salsa juice left over. I could just about live of that stuff alone. Repair guy came by and figured out what exactly was wrong with my dish washer. He'll come again next Monday when he has the replacement part and I'll have a working dishwasher again. Time to give up on the rest of the tomatoes, except for the green ones and I'll pick them tomorrow. I still have a quart of cherry juice to make into jelly but there's no real hurry there.

So what was wrong?

It all looks so cool but especially the water gardens!
So what was wrong?

It's broke :)
Hehe, correct! The vent on the top opens and closes but the sensor isn't reading correctly.
HORRIBLE waste of energy imo. Half cap full of bleach disinfects everything just fine.
You are absolutely right! Not giving it up though. :wee
Did they say what happened?
Yeah, @WthrLady, what happened?
