First surgery they took out the disk at L4/L5 & put in a cage & some marrow from my hip. 2nd surgery will be rods. I’m out of work for 6 weeks. We assume I’ll be back for at least another fusion as the disk above & the disk below are already herniated, but aren’t causing me too much pain atm. We think, anyway. Feeling pretty darn good considering. Thanks for sharing.Did you get a fusion? if so I can give you info about going thru that. I had the L4-5 and some of the C's done. Give yourself 4 to 6 weeks to do little things. 8 weeks to 'on paper' be able to go back to work and be 'normal' but in reality a good year before it really feels 'normal' to the point you can do what you used to once do ... again.

We gave up & started using poison, the rodents were doing too much damage. The package says its safe on secondary ingestions - meaning if my chicken ate a mouse that ate poison They’d be ok. Or if a hawk did. I went years refusing to use it but the mice have been eating the insulation u der the siding on the house & they actually chewed thru the pex water lines on a neighbors house & flooded it - that sealed the deal on switching to poison.my chickens ate some mice/rat poison and nothing happen. they also ate poisoned mice and rats. the vet says that sort poison is dangerous only for animals with fur. of course it is better if they do not eat it.
Thats what we do on the traps, the chipmunks can’t resist it!Wow that'd be interesting if it was.You could sprinkle some corn or sunflower seeds on the peanut butter on the trap. That should attract the mice.

I used the green tomatoes I had at the end of the season to make a mild, green salsa. I will definitely be doing that from now on.Does anyone have some good recipes for green tomatoes
