2 of my grape cuttings are breaking buds. I hope they are rooting. Sowed more flower seeds. I got some Robinson mum seed from the Burpee rack. So I looked up more information. Turns out they are painted daisy. They reclassified them as true mums. So not what I really wanted. I will be ordering some mammoth mums zone 3 hardy. Garden mums are annuals in zone 5 and I want perennials.

Some of the tomatoes we canned have a bitter taste to them……wondering if it’s related to the species we planted or time they were picked/processed

We planted a bunch of bulbs today. Tulips, ranunculus, daffodils, anemones, and I think something else. Probably 250 in all.

It’s later than it is supposed to be but it’s been so so wet. And it’s still wet. I don’t have much faith they will do much because of those two reasons but we will see. Hopefully some come up

We have things coming up that what not sure what they are, time will tell. It's my inlaw's house even though we have been here numerous times you don't always pay attention or note what is where.

Could be. A tad bit of sugar when you cook them will knock that out.

Are Banty less broody?

Just the opposite in my view there are only 4 birds in that coop.
My big birds have a coop of their own.
Headed to poultry auction today, will post photos if I buy any.
Looking for 5 pullets full size and 1 banty EE.
