And I was just thinking how much I'd rather have alpacas than horses....Fed the alpacas and while they were inside feeding their pie holes, I closed the corral gate. Angus caught me and now they know something is up.
I'll go out after dark and herd them inside. It's like herding cats, but I'll not have them sleep outside tonight and get rained on, soggy and then comes the frigid weather.
They have the IQ of a turnip, and that's an insult to turnips everywhere. For that I apologize.

Probably cheaper and much less hassle to just buy alpaca yarn.![]()
It looks to me like it may be a double-yolk egg. My friend has shown me a few of these (she loves chickens) and this egg looks comparable to the ones I've seen. Just a guess though.I have 4 out of 6 laying now, thankfully. Check this out - a torpedo? An egg?
