What did you do in the garden today?

Do Loofah get bugs like squash? I planted some pole beans because they are so easy & don’t get bugs, plus I don’t have to bend to pick them. Then I was thinking I have the squash trellises that I can’t plant squash on so if loofah is trouble free I could plant that there.

Eta - how about powdery mildew, do they get that? I need something maintenance free.

Squash beetles didn't touch my luffa.

The butterfly garden is done except for making 6 MORE rocks. I somehow missed cataloging several plants
All the strawberry pots are planted, the mints are in their own boxes. The whole left side is still dirt, and I'm adding more tomorrow and sewing those giant packages of wildflower mix.
I've not figured out what I want to put in the end yet, a clematis maybe. They like morning sun and their feet in the shade in the afternoon.

Tomorrow is up-potting day for all the tomatoes and then they can live in the greenhouse until the end of the month.
This season is welcome, but exhausting.

Generally the loofah is problem free. I’ve seen some powdery mildew in some of the gourds, but I don’t think the loofah was affected.
