My Dad found this in a field when he was a kid. Springfield model 86. Later than 1948, so it was a fairly new gun when he got hold of it. .22 bolt action. He said it used to have an iron ring when he was a kid and he broke it off the barrel.

Hopkins and Allen model G top break 12 ga singe shot. Pre-1916, but beyond that, I don't know a lot.

N.R. Davis and Sons top break double 12 ga. Again, pre-1917.

And the browning. Auto 5 Pre-WWII.

Very cool guns! I like single action revolvers but that old A-5 is definitely my favorite. My dad inherited his dad's 1954 Belgium made A-5. Think he bought it brand new for $50 if I remember correctly. I've shot quite a few ducks with it. He has a rifled slug barrel and I would like to shoot a deer with it one day.
