What am I doing in the garden today? We're finally supposed to get some 70 degree weather so I think I'll take my 2-week old chicks out for a "field trip" in my largest garden bed! They can explore and it's fenced in with chicken wire so my older hens can get a look at the chicks without much risk.

Gardening-wise, I may be going to my parents' to dig up a white hydrangea plant that I will separate into 3 plants and put in front of my house. Does anyone have any advice for doing this successfully?

I also want to get some of my tomato and pepper plants repotted. They have outgrown their small plugs and are becoming root-bound. I'm also hardening all of these off and trying to get them in my mini-greenhouse so I no longer have to run the LED lights in my basement.

I need to figure out where I want to move them. They are in the garden bed I want to get rid of. It's about a 4'x4' rounded diamond shape in the middle of the section of grass between the driveway turnaround spot and the front main garden bed (aka a weird spot, and in the way). I was going to get rid of it the first year we were here, but I remembered that there were pretty tulips in it when we did the inspection. It is straight out from where the underground sprinkler lines come out from the house, and has a small diameter PVC pipe buried vertically in it, too. Which reminds me to ask: Does anyone have any ideas of what the PVC could be there for?

Which is sad, what do we pay doctors for? They have the degrees, and sure as hell charge for their services. Why does the patient have to look for info to make themself feel better? I might as well just use dr google and save some money in this case. It’s a serious aggravation.

Doctors don't tell us this when we are diagnosed with high blood pressure. Maybe they make money prescribing drugs?

I am trying a new potting soil mix for my tomatoes with what I have available locally. I mixed 1 bag of Earth Brand composted Steer manure (Fluffy like Compost), 1 bag local dirt or top soil, 5 gallon bucket of peat moss, granular lime, and Gaviota 10-30-10 fertilizer for fruiting.

I am in the process of replacing my TYLCV infected plants with resistant types, so far out of the resistant types I have tested Camaro and Champion 2 got infected and Purple Zebra, Princess Yum Yum, Roman Warrior and Pamella are still resisting the virus.

I am also testing another resistant variety called apple yellow which I will use to graft a few mochi cherry tomatoes onto.

I finally got a Pineapple tomato scion grafted on a spoon tomato root stock. It will be interesting to see how it grows, since the wild disease resistant spoon tomato plants produce tiny pea size fruits.

I had to use a mature spoon tomato root stock to succeed. The young 4 leaf spoon tomato seedlings kept failing. However, the young Pineapple tomato scion had 4 leaves. I took off the silicone clip and its been out of the humidity bucket for about a week. I had it under a grow light and will be moving it outside under a 40% shade tarp tomorrow.

Sure you do, in your taxes.

No actually, it’s not in my taxes. Once a baby is born, the parent has to sign it to a medical care thingy, there are for of this in my country, you pay them directly, not the country. As an adult I pay 55₪ a month, for basic program, there’s also silver program and golden program. And you pay the health care thingy directly. You can still take a private doctor, but there’s no reason to do that bc they are not actually any better. I get two dentist visits per year, as many family doctors visits as I want, up to 24 psychologists sessions a year, my medication is mostly payed as well, for example, buying one of my meds privately is 300₪ a month, I get it for 65₪. So I save over 200₪ a month from the health care thingy.
There are other things as well, for example I can see the gynecologist 3 times a year with no extra charging and I’m a MAN.
Edit: apparently I’m paying for silver program, also I can get free psychologist meetings because I’m autistic, normal people have to pay 150₪ extra per meeting.

Yep, since advertising medication is legal where you live, doctors do receive money from prescribing certain drugs.
Almost 88% of American adults who suffer from high blood pressure are taking medication. 50% of American adults suffer from high blood pressure.
In Israel 30% of adults suffer from high blood pressure, from them only 36% are prescribed medication to control their blood pressure.

I uncovered PVC pipe along the driveway and on the edge of the property. It's a gray-water pipe, drains kitchen sink and washing machine water outside. In places with a high water table it reduces problems for septic systems.
