I picked fourty leaves of spinach, twenty leaves of lettus, looked at my broccoli and then added five new garden lights that shine like stars.

I agree. I check by looking at the dimple. If I can't tell, usually changing the angle I'm looking or the lighting lets me see. That is probably a bit overkill; checking the seal by brushing across it isn't much disturbance. On the other hand, I do best practice at each step (except I reuse lids) and I've never had a jar not seal or worried that one wasn't safe to eat.I usually can early morning or late afternoon, if it hasn't sealed by bedtime, I consider it unsealed and put it in the fridge for safety.
They SAY to wait 24 hours or over night. Um....I wouldn't leave food out for that long in a normal situation, why would I do that with something I'm trying to preserve or eat next day?!
I try to put in enough for the life of the plant. I always get worried about getting too close to 2.0ec because I'm usually dropping seedlings in. Like I'd be happy with 1.6 even. Also it's pretty cool that you are cloning your mango. I did that with a lisbon lemon and used aloe as rooting compound then stuck it in a mix of perlite/coco and kept it moist. It actually took which was surprising. Are the green shoots/suckers best for cloning?Hello, do you add solution, or do you put enough in for the life of the plant?
I tried a lot of different mango scion sizes up to 3 inches thick and all of them died. I followed some videos on YouTube and suspect they were fake. One guy stuck his scion in water with chopped onions, another stuck it in an aloe and buried it in soil, and another stuck it in a ripe banana and buried it in soil. None of these worked for me.Are the green shoots/suckers best for cloning?
I also have rooted lime and lemon cuttings in potting mix; however, mango tree cuttings are giving me a hard time.I did that with a lisbon lemon and used aloe as rooting compound then stuck it in a mix of perlite/coco and kept it moist. It actually took which was surprising.
That really sucks but looks like you've had way more experience than me. I know how to clone tomatoes pretty good but I think for some of the hardwood cloning I know clonex sell a seperate product that's made for hardwood cuttings. Maybe for things like Rosemary. I must say. Slowgrowing things are a waste in NFT I find. I wished I would of put the rosemary and even the thyme in one of the beds. Maybe I'll do a herb kratky bed and strike a balance. But since they are herbs I could try cutting the drum length ways so I have a bigger surface area to work with and maybe even try a flood and drain system.I tried a lot of different sizes up to 3 inches and all of them died. I am currently trying to root a soft young mango branch with water and rooting powder. I will need to put a soft young scion in inert potting mix for comparison to conclude this experiment.
The only Mango tree clone technics that worked for me so far are air layering and grafting. I haven't rooted a cutting yet. A white fungus usually kills them or perhaps make me kill them (I am kind of OCD). I tried straight neem oil, peroxide, alcohol, fungicide and Clorox. Nothing works. The white fungus only grows when I cover cuttings to retain moisture. I think it's a mushroom spore. Also, it doesn't grow on soft plants like tomatoes, chili peppers etc.
I just saw that while the post was on page 6660, the actual number of the forum post you referred to is 66600.have you noticed that you negated God on page 6660, which basically is 666? I noticed it from experience as God put the basic ideas in my head and gave me freedom to use my knowledge or not.
I am using Hormex rooting powder number 8 for moderately difficult to root woody plants. I bought it from amazon.I know clonex sell a seperate product that's made for hardwood cuttings.
My cement rubber tubs above my 600-gallon fish tank were set up for flood and drain, but I stop using it because it's a pain to clean. Also, nitrate from the filtered fish water is not enough to grow vegetables, I had to add soluble chelated iron to the water for plants to thrive.flood and drain system
I tried growing spinach, the hens ate them. I might try again next yearI picked fourty leaves of spinach, twenty leaves of lettus, looked at my broccoli and then added five new garden lights that shine like stars.![]()
