What did you do in the garden today?

Oh, it never starts out complicated. It's what you find when you take that all out you find something rotten, broken, or the replacement doesn't quite fit.
Next task is beating out the frame tiles and taking out the frame for the tub. Then I need to drain the PEX and cap them and then I can start cutting out the tub.
Baby steps.
I gotta figure out how to even shut off the water to the shower to even start.... 😂

Speaking of canning, I had a jar of tomatoes appear sealed after canning and put on a shelf. Some months later, I took it to the kitchen, and in the better light, I could see the top 3" were now a funky color. Oops, this is not good! The center was still down. I took it down to the compost bin and opened it. Good suctioning sound when I opened it too. No "off" smell. Dumped it out, took the lid and jar back to the house. When I examined the lid, I could see a tomato seed stuck to the rubber seal.

My husband and I remodeled the kitchen and I insisted that the sink should NOT be facing the wall. He swore there was nothing wrong with the sink being where it was. If course I won that battle. Our laundry room was 8 ft and well over 20 ft long. Now I have an official dining room and the table is not in my living room. The bathrooms were a pain. Our house was built in 1948 and nothing was done right. I think every time someone did something to try to fix it they just opted to put a bandaid on what should have been a surgical procedure.

My cement rubber tubs above my 600-gallon fish tank were set up for flood and drain, but I stop using it because it's a pain to clean. Also, nitrate from the filtered fish water is not enough to grow vegetables, I had to add soluble chelated iron to the water for plants to thrive.
The massive root growth from long squash or Tahitian taro collects a lot of muck and needs to be cleaned at end of season even with worms in the bed.

Now, I use the beds to grow duck weed for fish food supplement, but I keep one empty for growing lettuce in 1 gallon grow bags with a constant flow of 1/2 inch deep filtered fish water.

I think a NFT rail system is better than flood and drain.
Yeah I think that may be wiser in the end. I love the rails and how convenient they are. I've got so many that I need to start putting them together. One is just a 4m long 90mm pipe with 60mm holes cut into it but the other I bought off gumtree for 20 bucks. Pipes are a bit smaller and the holes are precut. The only downside to it is that the holes that come with it are pretty small. I'll need to make new pucks.

I have to check if the seedlings survived the buzzards last night and I dropped my fathers dog off for desexing. Poor little bastard was whining the whole time. Might have to get him some gold plated ones just to keep the jackanape happy. My other girl is recovering from her dental surgery but she seems a lot more chill.

I probably would have dumped it too.

I always (or try to always remember to) "tap" the lid before opening to double check the seal before opening. When I don't, sometimes if it "seems" to open too easily, I'm like "Was is sealed?" or "Did I just not notice the vacuum because I was concentrating on something else?...." I like to use the "tap test" just to verify that it was sealed.

But with something that obviously off-color I would dump.

have you noticed that you negated God on page 6660, which basically is 666? I noticed it from experience as God put the basic ideas in my head and gave me freedom to use my knowledge or not.
I went to the feed store and bought 3 bags of feed, but when I got home the receipt said I paid for only 2 bags. I went back and paid for the other bag. Is this normal behavior?

When I was a child in kindergarten, my childhood friend stole a pack of dried mango from the supermarket and was bragging about it as he shared his stolen item with us. It did not bother him one bit, but when I did it, somethings in my head went off. I begged my mother to pay for the dried mango I stole and kept bugging her about it until she took me to the store and paid for it. She gave me the receipt to clear my conscious.

I think I have God blood...........

Oh you remind me of my time in catholic schools. I was such a brat there LOL. I'd be in detention all the time, hanging out with the principal and trying to steal her chocolates. I remember I was never meant to do the holy communion but the principal kept pointing and ushering and before I knew it, plonk and crackers were served. Ah good times.

Front kratky tomato eventually leaned over but I'm just gonna let it hang and do its thang. My only concern is whether to add more support be it more bamboo stakes or zip ties around where the red ribbon is. The squash is kinda growing at the base of the pot and I don't think it's a good idea because it can be a dead zone with no air flow.
