What did you do in the garden today?

Like astral projection. I have an ex that said he could do that - he would call his mom & tell her about the conversation she had the night before with someone. Mostly he liked to control his body flying & doing flips & stuff, not spy on people. LOL. :idunno

That sounds fantastic! You should so try it & let me know how it works out. 😁

Strawberry plants in the raised beds are gone, I think he pulled over 100. & then he stacked my GS for me, so my new strawberries are done. Yay! I left the bottom tier empty, I think I'm going to put onions in there to deter critters sort of like @urbangardengirl mentioned yesterday.

Cilantro works great for keeping critters out of the strawberries.

I would be planting right now if it wasn't windy. I would be fine if it was raining but that wind is too stinking cold. Yesterday my husband was getting ready to leave for work and I thought Wally was going to the open gate to get out of the yard so I yelled at him. It was so hilarious he kept looking at the truck and going to the porch. I just started laughing and then my husband seen him and we were both laughing 🤣

It's kind of rainy here today. Yesterday I noticed that the 90 yellow onion sets I planted in the garden last month are coming up out of the ground.

I adjusted the "ON" timing of the LED lights above my tomato and pepper seedlings down to 15 hours per day from 18 hours per day. I don't want them to grow too fast since they aren't going into the garden until the first or second week of May. My plant nursery isn't big enough to handle a lot of big tomato plants.

I need to plant a few more lettuce and bok choi seeds so I can get the second generation ready for the garden.

Oooo.... I love the red. Wish this had been an option when I ordered mine.
It's my favorite, it even looks better in person. What color did you get?

Unfortunately I despise cilantro more than the critters probably do!

Oh, I got a new telescoping garden trowel today too! :celebrate

It really is nice seeing how you are so excited about gardening this year @Sueby. You’ve been through a lot this past year. I put the lattice up in my grand daughter’s garden today. Then I worked on repairing the asparagus bed. Not so easy when I have to try to drill screws through metal edging pretty much upside down. What a head rush. I finally tried kneeling to get closer to the border. I was a little worried when I realized I was kneeling on my troublesome knee. Fortunately, no ill effects yet. I did have some helpers of sorts.
