What did you do in the garden today?

It has been a lifelong dream of mine to see the Aurora. Last night, I got to see them! They were faint, and we had clouds and rain when they were supposed to be at peak, but I was so happy I finally got to see them that I may have shed a few tears of happiness!
They showed up really well in pictures:

Hopefully, we get to see peak tonight/tomorrow morning!

About the BT spray. The reason I asked is that I found a good price for a bulk amount on the Monterrey website, but when I was about to check out, I started to feel less than sure about the website. Having been scammed by a website seeming legit before, I decided to ask people I trust (aka you guys) where you buy it!

We have a small downpour tonight don't have to water again.
I am sick of the rain but not watering is good right.
We have had tons of rain in our growing zone. I am so sick of it also. I want to be outside enjoying the garden and my animals and the sun.

I don't water anything in the garden if it's going to rain. Free watering 🤷‍♀️

I can feel that I worked yesterday. My hands and lower back are checking in. "Hey, person, can we take it easy today? Maybe just go to the store, the bank?" I think I'll listen.
The garden and yard work are definitely making me feel worked.
My forearms are like noodles!
Rainy day here calls for a lazy day.

😍😍😍

They like to attack me when I somehow find them while wearing flip flops. 😭

My girls eat all of the leaves.... I had to get them away.

This.

I order mine from arbico-orgaincs.com

I order most of my stuff from them. Their customer service and shipping is on point.
I may have started getting lost on their website because they have a bunch of cool things! I am pretty sure Garden Supplies Math is a real thing! "I need BT spray, that's it.... Oh, LOOK! Beneficial insects! And season extenders! And......."

G’morning all. Been a busy week but I got out to water this morning and the xeriscape garden is happy! Plus the lemon tree is loaded with fruit and the bougainvillea is happy too. Elvis was my escort, called the girls over for bugs and such than ran from the water. Have a great day!

I’m in Ohio too-west central. So sick of rain. Raining as I type this. I am happy though for the lack of frost in May. I still remember a few years ago a low in the 20s around May 22!!! That was just mean spirited by Mother Nature.

Oh yes I remember that may. I thought I had put my winter coat away for good that season and had to get it back out it was so cold!
I am grateful this year for warmer Temps right now but it seems rain every other day so far.
I thought April showers were supposed to bring may flowers 🤔 guess mother nature got it backwards this year.
I'm north-east ohio! On lake erie.

The beneficial insects (triple mix of nematodes) arrived yesterday. First shipment of 5, I bought a monthly subscription bc I need to apply them a few times I think. I applied nematodes 1x a few years ago and I recall the next year seemed a little lighter in insect pressure (nematodes? Deep and long cold spell? Other?). So, I figure applying several times through the season would likely be a good thing.

The instructions say to water well before applying -to make sure soil is wet as nematodes need moisture to move through the soil. Mother Nature has that covered this morning. Then it rains again on Mon/Tuesday. Then need to keep application area moist for 10-14 days.

I’ll enjoy envisioning the Japanese Beetle larvae being killed in ground due to nematode pressure. But, this mix kills around 200 soil dwelling pests -I’m sure that depends on region though.
