What did you do in the garden today?

Those look like little yellow bugs to me. I think I can see legs.
OMG! I can't tell you how grossed out I am, right now! And glad I saw them! And glad YOU saw them! I used my phone camera, magnified. What the hell kind of bugs are these??

You could use that dill as a "trap" plant. Leave it for the aphids in hopes that it will keep them away from your other garden plants.

They're gone. Burned. I planted the dill for myself. Wouldn't have removed the caterpillars, had I known. How sad. But the aphids - I was just so grossed out. Checked my much smaller dill plants in my greenstalks on the other side of the deck. Saw neither caterpillars nor aphids. Will keep watch. The little dill plants are in my combo herbs/greens greenstalk. For sure will be watching.
We sure are fighting insects, this year

The News just uses stock photos/videos. One of the stations here makes fun of the videos. They run the same clip every overweight report. Anchors would say "and there's the woman with the flowers shorts from the 80s"
When the Ukraine started some news used old footage from a different war and there was a big hubbub because it was so inaccurate.
Used to be it was current footage or just the report. Now with computers instead of being more accurate it's just some random spider picture .
I saw an article online titled "Why doesn't he text you back?" and the accompanying photo was of a woman gazing at...a landline phone!

Hot here, so I deep watered the squash plants, left the hose on trickle for about 10-15 minutes per plant. Each of the tomato plants got about a gallon of water, and I left the hose running on trickle in the beans bed while I did other things.

The day lilies are blooming:

As are the Canna lilies:

And the clematis bridged the gap to the upper trellis!

Yes, that's 90°showing on the porch thermometer...it was unofficially 91° today.
