What did you do in the garden today?

I've been using it for a few months. I sprinke it into the PDZ droppings pan, and on the sand, coop floor - then lightly scratch it in. I use an old, plastic parmasan jar with sprinkle lid for distribution

I bought it because it suggested whitewashing your walls and roosts with it. Haven't done it yet (too hot outside) but I'd like to.... Especially in the duck coop on their bedding

I’ve used old t-shirts. I’ve seen some use nylon stockings. I’ve seen some use old plastic milk jugs!

I've got to start trying up mine too... Last year I used old t-shirts which worked out great. I also have old potato and onion bags which also works great.

I might try old t-shirts! I have plenty that have seen better days

Yesterday one of the hens got stuck in between the fences and was too scared to get out because there was a groundhog burrow nearby so I had to go in and lift her out. She's all good now and hopefully won't do that again.

Does anyone grow potato onions, aka, multiplier onions? These are NOT the same as Egyptian Walking Onions.

You plant a bulb in the fall, and get 5-8 the next end-of-summer.

Supposedly, they aren't supposed to flower. Mine never have. Until this year. Just about every single one is flowering. I was wondering if cutting off the flower would make a larger set of onions. So I cut some off.

I spent a couple hours hauling the hose around, watering.

The nice thing about that on a hot day is you can spray your pants/shirt to cool off!
