I did it in olive oil one year. It was good, but I just froze it all in a container, I should have done it in an ice cube tray! It was impossible to break off pieces like I thought. But yes, it was good stuff!I have a bumper crop of garlic, and I want to freeze some. I tried mincing some and freezing in an ice cube tray.
I thought a "cube" would pop out easily. Nope, little chunks of garlic started falling out of all the cubes.
Has anyone frozen garlic? How'd you do it, and did it work well?
