What did you do in the garden today?

The first of what will only be a few tomatoes.

I just read a reply on the Easy Garden, and she said "looks nasty", I thought she meant the mystery squash but I now believe she meant how dirty my dining room table looks. YES, I'm a lazy azz. I know I need to be a better cleaner but I'm just not. I would greatly appreciate it if everyone could check it out and give me your HONEST OPINION, no lying to me just the truth.

Wow sorry about the refrigerator...They're so expensive these days, too. I was pricing some yesterday. Of course they are all stainless steel, too. No more just plain white? I guess we have to order them & they'll cost as much as the stainless. PITA
I have SS now, supposedly was fingerprint proof....yeah right...NOT. Darn thing Always looks smudged, sorry I give up, this kitchen is for cooking & eating, not looking like a showroom or magazine photo. Lol
Man, I have two fridges in the garage. One from like 1990, the other is newer but at least 20 years old. I have a freezer from 1982. All of these run great.

Our next fridge won't have an in door ice maker, I'm pretty sure. It'll also be a side by side or one of those fancy four door ones. Haven't decided yet.... It's a tough choice. I would like the flex zone.

Today I harvested tomatoes (yesterday at this point)... I watered, mowed the clover, and I got a dresser from my best friend to put in the utility side of my chicken shed. So I redid the "pool shed" it's so much better. And I stabbed a black widow (that I knew I couldn't smash because it was in a tight bit of framing) with my favorite knife. So perfect!!!

Yep! Let them root & then clip the runner from the mother. They might not produce as many berries if they're throwing out runners tho. Are you going to try overwinter them? Everbearing or June bearing? In the ground with June bearing they will say to not let them grow runners the first year, generally speaking. I let my new everbearings have babies this year & they are giving me lots of berries anyway.
These are Everbearing. I thought the runners were nice since I only had one plant survive in that grow bag. Now I have 3 plants there. I want to overwinter them. My front covered porch might be the best place to do that.

Hey, when I'm at work all day then home tending for flock afterwards, & on a day off I'm enjoying weather & doing many chores outside, I am rarely inside, so inside my place is a wreck these days & guess what, it's nobody's business. Yeah I clean, the kitchen counters, stove, sink & refrigerator are clean, laundry & dishes done daily, bathrooms are clean, but the rest of the house inside is not at the top of the list. When we focus on this stuff, that other stuff will suffer a bit. Living creatures come 1st. Kitchen food areas & bathrooms & bed are essential cleaning, but don't look at the rest of my house. It'll get spotless again when we get a several day hurricane, or in cold winter. Lol

Don't let stranger's comments get to ya, they do not know you, the life you live, how full your plate is, what challenges you've dealt with or are currently dealing with, or how many little mouths you're feeding that depend on you.

That's why this site is the Only site I visit on a regular basis...no judgements here because we get it, we all understand because we are all living flock life. ❤️
