Chickens won't eat the bagworms as they hide inside their case or sac they create. I've ripped open a few sacs to expose the worms & they'll eat them, but they do not seem too enthused, so maybe they taste bad, plus it is not that easy trying to open the sacs. Sparrows & parasitic wasps will get the worms out of their sacs but I haven't seen many Sparrows or those type wasps around.will the chickens eat them?
Will you get paid for it's lose? Here they are supposed to but its a long drawn out process
pray they figure it out and can fix quicklyit needs to be identified & if possible, gotten rid of.

I don't try starting seeds indoors, even though with some of them I should, it seems as though I try and everything dies about a week or two before I should put em in the garden. WTF is up with my green thumb turning black just before planting time.I noticed that a volunteer tomato plant that came up this spring is nearly as big as the plants I spent months nurturing indoors before setting outside. Its stalk is as thick as the transplants and it has lots of blossoms.
I think I'll just plant tomato seeds in the garden early next spring instead of spending money and time starting them indoors. Sure would make things easier.
Here in California I think they have to pay to replace the tree or you turn it in to the insurance and they get their money from the farmer/rancher. I hope you are successful in getting your tree replaced. They sprayed the crop field on a breezy day...killed one of my trees.
