That's what put me to mind of the purée for bellinis. Not as sweet as syrup but a little bit of sugar to preserve it and a splash of lemon to keep the color. I should be able to freeze it in an ice tray and transfer to storage bags.bonfire peaches look like peaches my grandparents had. they were not tasty to eat fresh but people used to make jam and syrup of them.
I've never heard of that variety so had to look it up. I've certainly eaten them and on l now I know what they're called. So thank you for that. (which doesn't mean I won't forget their name next time I see oneI roasted my first kubocha squash of the season. The seal is broken, vegetable roasting season is here early in this house. I love... I mean, LOVE, roasted vegetables and an excuse to eat nearly every winter squash available to ingest. Yummmm!!!

Roasted vegetables is just like....mmmmmm.... Oh so good. I also just love vegetables so I'm just good with whatever as long as the carrots are raw and I cannot get past the smell of pickled beets.I roasted my first kubocha squash of the season.
