Here in sunny FL our garden is already going strong. We have a bigger variety of plants this year (finally got a deep freezer that can hold stuff for the winter so...Went nuts with the plants!). We're doing cabbage, swiss chard, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, broccolli, cauliflour, sugar snap peas, Tequila sunrise hot peppers, kung pao hot peppers, jalapenos, habaneros, a mix of sweet peppers, and cucumbers. *fingers crossed* They are all doing well so far, and we will be transplanting the seedlings to the garden this weekend hopefully!

Planted out cauliflower and tidied my herb garden. It's finally warmed up here (in the daytime at least) and all the seeds I planted in the greenhouse are starting to sprout.

Thanks Its pouring rain around here for most of the last day and a half so no gardening done. Instead we worked under our shed on putting in a new separate chicken run (still attatched to main coop, but separate so we can sort out breeding pairs hopefully!)
(BTW I love NC... born in Hickory and raised in Statesville area)

I'm watching the rain. Hooray! First decent fall in a month, filling up the water tanks. Should soften up my clay soil a bit so i can do some digging.

Yes we are getting great rain here in Florida now!!! Finished my second seasonal planting and the rain came and watered it in for me!!!!!

Love it when rain waters in new plantings. We watered everything today with recycled water, picked lettuce and spinach, planted out tarragon and giant cabbages, admired my new sprouting plants, and pondered how to go about shipping tomatoes cross country in the mail.
